  1. I meant 5 players, thanks for catching that. And I did think G Anderson was a starter but it was T Anderson.
  2. Basketball fans/players remember that even before the transfer portal opened there was already a mass exodus in the MWC of 5+yr/graduate players and starters on their way out. SJSU actually looked good but now has 3 starters (6 players total-corrected) in portal (almost feel bad for Coach Miles). AF's 5 seniors will be an anchor as we see what soph/frosh are back (and this goes to the strength of returnees for Air Force Women's Basketball depending on returning players as well). GO FALCONS - Rick'77 Note:CSU actually 5 grad players
  3. Add AF sophomore starter Kellan Boylan to portal.
  4. That would be a double heartbreaker. Please not the MW if he goes.
  5. Yep....standing by to stand by............. Per the Gazette and multiple sources it appears Air Force Men's Basketball players Rytis Petraitis and Kellan Boylen have entered the NCAA transfer portal. I understand the desire for athletes in today's environment to explore their options but this will obviously be a step backward for our program if they leave. I was reminded that the portal is not a finite position players take. They can enter, explore options and then ask to remain at their current school. My understanding is it is not always 100% that a spot is available with other transfers in/out civilian programs, but the academies are not in that situation as they do not take transfers in. Most recently AJ Walker entered the portal after his sophomore year then pull his name and stayed at USAFA averaging 14.7 ppg over his junior and senior seasons and graduating as a 2Lt. The emphasis for both these young men and others is to determine whether the option of play basketball elsewhere (and with any associated NIL that may occur) be your priority while gaining an education, or after reflecting on their choices, to graduate from the Air Force Academy with a top-notch academic education, a guaranteed career path and the opportunity to be a leader in our Air or Space Forces. In either case I know this program is ready to survive and take the next step next fall with our seniors leading the way. Good luck and God Speed. GO FALCONS
  6. Fresno State evens up the series. Rubber match tomorrow. GO FALCONS
  7. Friday nite, AF grabs game 1 from FSU. GO FALCONS
  8. One of the most consistent Mountain West games played all year on both ends of the court. 1-3-1 zone was brilliant and unexpected. Congrats from this AF Fan
  9. CSU showing effects of playing late and then flying that same night on Tuesday and playing today. Missing normal shots. GO RAMS
  10. Thank you for doing this. And compiling the information.
  11. Oh my oh my oh my.....truer words never spoken. Interesting knowing his parents background. Welcome to our world especially once the extra covid year expires. GO FALCONS
  12. Sad to say for Tim Miles that the book on the top of the must read list is "Wheels on the Bus go round and round THEN fall off". AF fan holding our breath. GO FALCONS
