  1. Troy and Terrie, Heartfelt condolences. I know the pain you are going through. I would guess that alot of our wives/girlfriends think us sportsnuts spend too much time bantering and bickering with faceless adversaries. And they would be right. However, the time spent 'talking' about something you love is never 'wasted' time. And it seemed to me, that your husband/father truly enjoyed the repartee on this board. I, for one, enjoyed reading his thoughts, it was NEVER wasted time for me. I know his contributions as a husband, father and serviceman far out weigh any contribution he made here. But, I would like to say 'Thank You' for letting coastie come out and play with the fellas. Sincerely.
  2. Don't know if I would want the aTm job. SportsDayDFW.com Published: 02 December 2011 10 AM Related It's never fun to lose your job. But when everyone else knows about it before you, it's probably especially painful. Such appears to be the case with former Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman, who the A&M board of regents decided yesterday they would not retain for the next season. According to a report from former Oklahoma State coach Pat Jones, Sherman found out he was fired when he was on the recruiting trail. According to Jones, who now works as a radio host in Oklahoma, Sherman entered the home of a potential recruit when the player's mother told him about the reported firing.
