I think the computer polls should use margin of victory, but incremental and with a cap. For example, overtime and 1 or 2 point victories would get you x amount of points, 3-6 would get you y points, 7-13 z points and 14+ w points. That way you get a bonus for not having it come down to the wire, but there is no incentive to run up the score, and if you're in a 7 point game and want the additional points from a 2 score victory, then you are risking a turnover and losing what is obviously a close game. I doubt too many coaches in a seven point game would opt for a last second field goal just to increase the margin of victory, while risking a block returned for the tying score. It shouldn't effect final scores but would reward teams who had really won the game before the clock ran out.
