Why wouldn't a Baylor, Wash. St, or Iowa St. team be worthy for a BCS game? Sounds like the system you are presenting is just as flawed. Shouldn't all teams be eligible, isn't that the whole "non-BCS" argument? If Baylor can beat Texas, OU, Tech, Nebraska and win the Big 12 they don't deserve a BCS game, but if Hawaii beats up a weak WAC conference they deserve a national title? Over inflated wins against the crappy conference you have and yearly losses to Boise is not impressive.

I commend the effort, if it was really you that created this model. But I don't agree with your weights. Ball St. in the top 15 is a joke. Like they say in statistics, all models are wrong, only some are less wrong than others.

I like it this way. Beating any bcs team on the road is never a guarantee for any program. Anyone would be crazy to guarantee a win. I just hope that we come out with a win and no major injuries to any of our starters.
