OT: Former Nevada player Brandon Ford Fragger

Brandon's now a recruiter at Facebook.  I did a phone screen with him yesterday, but I don't want to relocate to Cali for work, so that was the end of that.  During the course of the conversation, I realized his name sounded familiar, so I asked him what his background was - where he came to Facebook from.  He said he was previously trying to make into the NFL.  I said his name sounded familiar, and asked where he played in college.  He says Nevada.

 

I was like "Oh, nice, I went to Utah State."

 

"Really?  Y'all were in our conference."

 

"I know.  I think I've seen you play in person.  Small world, huh?"

 

"For sure."

 

Really nice guy.

Fragger's career was riddled with injuries but he was first rate cat and had an unreal freshman season. He singled handily destroyed UNLV down in Vegas. His career didn't go as planned but it sounds like he's doing well. Good to hear.
