Mostly symbolic but well timed and deserved. While we can’t compete at the upper levels of CFB we need to do everything possible to extend this staff as long as possible. The increase of investment into the program is previously paid for with increased attendance at games. This year will be a step up in competition and revenue. Can’t wait.

Brooklyn has a much bigger game than we saw last year. He grave up his offense to focus on defense and being the all supportive and coachable freshman. I hope and expect to see him get a little more assertive in the offense next year.

While his play has been bewildering he has been a great PR guy for the program. He might have more relationships within the local area and therefore other reasons to stay even in a reduced role. I don’t see where there would be much more to expect from him than what we have already seen.

The roster has been updated in the first post. 4 scholarships open at this point and well needed.

Not a surprise and I doubt he would have played that much more next year. Both Shane and Jackie want to play more and have some fun. That probably won’t happen here. We need substantial improvement at the SG position and need it right now. Best of luck moving forward Shane and Jackie.

Chicken or the egg scenario. The Athletic Department and the Admin have been dysfunctional for decades until just recently. Everyone is still trying to dig out from this generational incompetence. Coaches have come and gone never really having the tools or support to succeed. But by all means…

It’s been 10 days since our last game. Everyone has been back in town now and almost certainly the end of year interviews have been completed with all of the players. 1 player has entered the portal. Rumors of DJ going into the portal have been refuted by local media and now DJ…twice in the past few days. No news from the AD about any searches or contract changes. It seems the last hope to fire CKK slipped away a few weeks ago and of course that is what we are talking about here in an ever so subtle manner. There is still the ongoing opportunities to talk about the further failures he’ll certainly make while recruiting the portal over the next month. Is replacing 3 scholarships still considered a massive roster turnover again this year? Added to the 3 newcomers I guess an argument can still be made. Is having another 2 freshman coming in this year a positive for building the roster with potential multi year players argument standpoint or a negative for bringing in guys that can’t contribute to save CKK’s job standpoint? Without a transfer from Oklahoma in the past 2 classes does the nepo-baby label still hold up? I get so confused.

Is he? Where is confirmation of that. I would say that most of the conversation is wishful thinking to advance an objective. Some just grasping at straws that somehow CKK will still be fired.
