  1. I’ll be happy if we keep it to the point spread. I’m afraid we’re gonna get hammered. I’m getting together with the same high school friends as the final four last year so who knows.
  2. I watched T. Gwynn play point guard in Petersen. Place was like a high school gym. I don’t believe Clippers ever played there.
  3. I still go to the Church I was raised in on occasion. They’re a bunch (well actually there’s not so many any more) of very nice people and there is a real sense of community that is accepting and non-judgmental. It’s a loving pastor and congregation. None of the hate spouted by so many “Christians” today. My fundamental problem is I just can’t get myself to believe. I haven’t believed since my late teens. Nevertheless I’m very thankful for the values my Christian upbringing imparted to me. I try my imperfect best to live by them.
  4. I think you’re mistaken. No one under 40 is old enough to remember those UNLV teams.
  5. I understand the appeal to school administrators, but given what’s happened in the tourney, the idea that playing two more games against each other will improve the conference’s perception with selectors is ridiculous.
  6. I honestly haven’t seen UConn play this year. But I know we’re not as good as last year when they trounced us so I’m not at all hopeful. Stranger things have happened though.
  7. Yeah I’ve seen that movie a couple times…
  8. Definitely. Anything to negate your track record.
  9. Yeah a Ph endorsement is sort of a kiss of death.
  10. As of April 19th it will only be a one seat majority. From today’s UT: Republican Rep. Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin announced Friday he will resign effective April 19, leaving the slim House GOP majority with a one-vote margin that will make it even harder to pass legislation. Under Wisconsin law, Gallagher’s seat is likely to remain vacant until January, with the November general election to determine who wins his seat.
