Pretty big drop for New Mexico isn't it?

The fan base for most of our schools will always limit how much the conference can grow and demand for TV dollars.  I don't know how, but all schools need to find ways to grow their fan base.  Pretty tough out West and in today's climate where fans are staying home and watching in HD over going to games.

too many bottom bitches in this conf

And that's why we have such shit bowls.  When the Raiders stadium is finished the MWC will say good-bye to the LV Bowl.  We'll be stuck with nothing.

Take SDSU's with a 500lb grain of salt. Their last home game vs. whoever it was couldn't have had more than about 5k in attendance.

Leave it to a Leg to state a bold faced lie. Nice attendance at our last Boy Scout game in Colo Springs BTW.

“Last season, SDSU’s average home attendance was 37,289 (tickets distributed). Turnstile count was 25,617, according to city figures published in a Union-Tribune story earlier this year.”

This attendance smack ranks right up there with the recruiting star system. Nevada sucked this year, no question about that. There’s not a team in this conference that doesn’t have issues.

Look at SDSU and Wyo going all Alabama with 7 home games ?

Those numbers have to be "tickets out" or "Tickets distributed" - Most UNLV games don't come close to that many actual bodies and when UNLV visited New Mexico the side across from the press box and end zone couldn't have had more than 1000 people total

Reno is definitely fickle unfortunately, the Polian years really did a number to these figures.

Only went to 2 games myself, but I can thank my crappy new work schedule for that

This is well known on this board.

Very discouraging for csu.  Hate to see their numbers with a losing season and the newness of their stadium wears off.

What is work good for? Just tell Mug to hire you. He’d let you be at all the games.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.
