Actually, Hawaii actuality does have a ski club. But skiing on the big volcano has its issues.

If you want to ski and be at the beach in the same day, just ski at Big Bear above LA in the spring and then drive an hour down the mountain to the LA beaches.

I know this well, i was born and raised in Redlands. 1 hour to the snow, 1 hour to the beach, and 30 minutes to the lake. We hit all 3 in one day once just to say we could do it.

 

But let's not distract ourselves from the fact that Hawaii sucks and is going to lose to a crumbling BYU program in front of dozens of fans.
