I want a new political party

That might be an argument you could use if it had any basis in fact. But alas, no. Anyhoo, 63%, 36%, whatever.

Every person in business knows you pay more taxes than just income tax moron.

Every person who has rentals pays property tax and property assessments.  I understand why you don't know this as your imaginary rental empire doesn't get taxed.

Almost every state has somewhere around a 7% sales tax

Every corporation pays corporate tax.   Every owner of stock is then again paying income tax or capital gains tax.  Corporate income can be taxed 5 times based on income if you live in New York city.   Not to mention all the corporate fees, employee taxes, SIIS taxes.

In fact every economist who tries to determine the true tax rate ends up with a low 60% number but they all agree it is an incomplete number because there are so many taxes and fees it is impossible to find them all.

A short incomplete list of some of the taxes and fees.   Your state has more than this.

If I could design my own party, the fundamental platform pillars would be to promote, preserve, and protect an individual's rights to:

  • Live
  • Vote
  • Publish and/or express views, demonstrate openly, and worship or abstain if you so please
  • Due process of law and trial by jury
  • Personal privacy
  • Own property and firearms
  • Self defense
  • Self identification and determination
  • Compensation for labor and sale of property
  • Love, cohabit with, and marry whoever as long as the other person(s) are older than 16 years of age and provide documented and verifiable consent
  • Consume or ingest whatever substance you want - and if/when you become an addict, it is YOUR problem, not OUR problem...
  • Manage your own body and health
  • Travel to and reside where you please

All of these are based on the caveat that an individual wouldn't be denying other individuals of the same rights.  This of course isn't an exhaustive detailed list but it covers the biggest ticket items for me.

You can have government treatment programs.  You can have more efficient private treatment programs.

Especially since you won't be paying $85 billion on the war on drugs that is a 100+ year failure.  How long does it have to fail before we try something else?

Libertarianism isn't a suicide pact.

Don't try to pretend that you have a sense of humor.

Don’t try and pretend that you would want more competition for the DNC.

I have said the same thing on this board many times. More strong parties would make it difficult for one party to control enough votes to get to a majority for either the president or congress. Meaning that coalitions would have to be formed, which requires compromise. Something  that is much more realistic than your idealistic man made island kingdom of billionaires, which would be doomed to failure.

You’ve also tried to claim you’re not a DNC operative. Sorry jack, we all know you live and breathe the DNC every hour of every day.

"Compromise", the definitive way to do everything wrong every time.

The reason the U.S. is the most powerful country on earth is we compromise the least of all other governments.   The reason Russia and China are our rivals is they also limit compromise.

The reason France, Germany, England ect... lost all their power, they compromise to form a government and do everything wrong every time.

Governments tend to compromise and this is a long term problem.  Everything they do is a little bit wrong.  That builds up over time until the Tapeworms who don't want to do anything anyway.  Can't get much done because of the weight of the wrong.

The political system, including the so called parties, is one big joke. On us.

There isn't much difference between them, or any 3rd party. They are all controlled by special interest with only one concern; power. And how to ring every last penny from the serfs. Us.

The biggest joke is 'voters' thinking their views matter a damn to the power structure. TPTB use our views to manipulate us and keep us blind to the fact the whole system is a joke.

One of the Final Five..........
