Chuck Manson Finally Dead at 83

Ding dong the witch is dead!   Glad this POS finally shuffled off this mortal coil. However, his original sentence should have been carried out years ago.  One of the big mistakes in commuting a sentence, imo.

His sentence was not individually commuted, the death penalty was briefly overturned shortly after his conviction by your liberal minded friends on the California Supreme Court.

Yup.  It happens.  In California, it happened repeatedly.  Their reasoning was honorable.  They were trying to ensure the system worked properly, and if you look at the laws at the time, they were right.  Still sucks though.  But I guess even a heinous asshole like Manson can't have the death sentence enforced again after being commuted. 

Anyway you look at it though, glad the phuckker is dead.
