You guys need some people to dust the cobwebs off the high rollers tables.

The Cat houses are the most impacted by the new schedule.  They used to be able to count on major bank when you guys rolled into town every other year.

Chris Murray says today:

"The Wolf Pack is a 21.5-point underdog at Boise State this week and ESPN's Football Power Index gives Nevada a 10 percent chance of winning the game. That sounds right to me. The Wolf Pack offense has played well in recent games, which makes it dangerous. If you can put up 40-plus points, you have a strong shot of winning. But, it is facing a Boise State defense that hasn't allowed more than 14 points to a MW foe this season. ".

and-

"I asked coach Jay Norvell after today's practice he said it is a big rivalry and the Wolf Pack counts down the days to this game. Quarterback Ty Gangi said it was of equal value to the UNLV game. Boise State coach Bryan Harsin said it is an important game to him because of what it means to the fans and that he's talked to his players about the meaning of this rivalry to make sure they know its importance.

So, yes, everybody is on board in saying this is an important game."

You could take it a step further and say that they haven't given up more than 14 points to any G5.

I’m surprised any could survive our 4 year absence. Probably still surviving off of our huge tips.

I'm impressed, this thread is twice as long as the CSU-WYO thread.

That’s cause we go hard

It's the chiclets bro. Our unwashed children loved the generosity. Great bed time stories.

The Pack kinda needs to win more than one of the last 15 to make it a real rivarly. As it stands, it's a historic rivalry that's gone dormant despite Nevada playing up to Boise in the last few contests. I think the -20.5 is high but there would be no way I'd take the points. The only thing playing to Nevada's advantage is the bye week, and even then I'm not sure that helped the Pack offense.

-20.5?  I'll take that if it stays under 3 TDs.  O-line improving, Ryp becoming more asset than liability, he is discovering new WRs, defense dominant, and we've got recruits in town to show off for.

Don't know whats going on with the Pack right now but I've got a few dollars that say Reno gonna get thumped.

It will depend on Nevada’s Defense imo.

We might give up some big pass plays here and there to keep it closer than it should be. The question is really what does our Offense do. If they have the success they did last week this will be over by the end of the 3rd.

We will see. I have no idea what to expect from this team from week to week.

The cities of Reno and Boise are very similar.  If you take out the gangs, the filth, the trashy casinos and iron bars over all the windows, very similar indeed.

@mugtang

Sounds like the future of an average Boise State grad.

Hey @halfmanhalfbronco, you bringing your grandma to the game? I’m asking for a friend.

That only works at your stadium.

I have it on good authority that these guys will be standing guard over the elderly to stop any wolf(space)pack shenanigans.

Watch yourself son.
