MW Players in the NBA?

Recommended Posts

Who ended up making the final regular season rosters? Here is my count, let me know if I'm missing anyone:

SF-Derrick Jones        UNLV        Phoenix
SG-Patrick McCaw        UNLV        Golden State
SG-Rashad Vaughn        UNLV        Milwaukee
SF-Khem Birch        UNLV        Orlando

C-JaVale McGee        Nevada        Golden State
SF-Luke Babbitt        Nevada        Atlanta
PG-Ramon Sessions        Nevada         New York

SF-Paul George        Fresno State    Oklahoma City
SG-Tyler Johnson        Fresno State    Miami

SF-Kawhi Leonard        San Diego State    San Antonio

PF-Jason Smith        Colorado State    Washington

PF-Larry Nance        Wyoming        Los Angeles L

SF-Tony Snell        New Mexico    Milwaukee

It appears that Gian Clavell signed a 2-way contract with the Mavs which will have him mostly in the G-League but can be called up. Cam Oliver injured himself and was waived by the Rockets, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get picked up by someone later in the season.

It looks like Christian Wood, Stephen Zimmerman, and James Webb all failed to make a roster.

SF-Kawhi Leonard/Luke Babbitt/Derrick Jones

SG-Tony Snell/Patrick McCaw/Rashad Vaughn

PG-Tyler Johnson/Ramon Sessions

Joel Anthony was waived by the bucks on Oct 14.. had a good 10 year run, got two rings (starter in the finals with Miami), and stocked the weight room at the Mendenhall with a $250,000 donation. Rebel..

Still can't believe Joel had the career he did. He was soooooo raw at UNLV. Amundson as well.

I think it would, mostly because of Kawhi and Paul George carrying them. Really weak at Center and PG though. Not a lot of scoring at SG either, but good defenders (except Vaughn).

With that roster almost makes sense to go no guards. George and Leonard are good enough to defend guards and then you have the other 3 forwards to guard the opponent's bigs. It would be an interesting team for sure.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

very happy for khem btw. worked his ass off to make his dreams come true. not like some of the other softies that plagued the rebel teams in recent years

Agree 100%. He has worked hard every step of the way, and didn't give up.
