the biggest racists I see are Democrats running most of the US major cities.

And most people who voted for Trump actually work for a living and don't want or expect any gov't handouts, their never voting for someone like Bernie Sanders.

Spot on! Right Wing talking points pretty much all hit in a short sentence - RNC caliber post right there !!

Whenever I see the phrase "(Name Your Libtard Candidates here)  Ticket", I associate the 'ticket' part with expensive speeding tickets, expensive parking tickets, any other ticket that hits you in the pocketbook dearly.... just any ticket you have to pay a price for. And that's ironic because most Democrats do cost us dearly in the wallet with their out of control taxes and other excessive entitlements.

I'd back him way before Kasich.

IDK, Kasich started talking up restorative justice/ criminal justice reform stuff for a bit there. I'd back him over most any other comers just for that, biggest drain and time bomb in our domestic area IMO.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

My distaste for Kasich is personal, not on policy. Nobody wanted him and he wouldn't get out of the race because he was betting they would crown him at the convention anyway. Trump might still have won, but Kasich worked real hard to help him do it.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

You are under the widely expressed and incorrect influence of thinking republicans are fiscally conservative and control deficits & debt when in control - Again the right wing media has done an excellent job of selling a lie  - I wish the democrats could lie & then convince people it's the truth.......................this could go to the right being more gullible to be sold propaganda.

Except all the farmers and ranchers who scream for their welfare very loudly and who voted overwhelmingly for Trump. They're pretty welfare whorish.

Corporate welfare is fine with republicans.............giving big tax cuts to wealthy is a good thing................feeding poor people is an evil socialist giveaway

Yeah. But tax cuts are part of the game we have now in our global "race to the bottom" to attract corporate citizens, besides, there's something just a little  more grating to me about directly paying assloads of welfare to farmers who then turn around and bitch about too much gubmint in their lives.

Bitching about government & then holding a hand out for payment is a tradition!!

I know more than a few people who are all about small government and less spending, either oblivious or just ignorant that their entire livelihood is dependent on government and spending......even those is the private sector are employed only due to government contracts.

The global economy's first phase is finding the equilibrium of wages between developing countries and developed countries.........i.e., wages need to rise in developing economies while they need to stagnate or decrease in developed countries.............the US has been in wage stagnation for the working class since the early 1980's as the US has moved from a manufacturing dominate economy to becoming a service dominated economy

Along with cowboy welfare for below-market grazing leases on public land.

No kidding

Head to Star Trib's facebook page

Look at articles about raising taxes

Drink a beer for every cowboy in his 60s talking about how we "pay enough taxes already" while being on medicare, having effectively free grazing for his herd, and having all the infrastructure to get his herd to market paid for by oil and gas instead of his welfare ass

Actually, don't do that cause I like your posting and you might die

The Gazette is the same way. The "Letters to the Editor" part has been largely replaced by the facebook comments, but it's got gold too.

After spending the summer in that part of the world, I now hope Trump cuts Medicare completely.

The vindictive side of me would love this - All these oldsters (an i'm soon to be one) all voting GOP and screaming about spending........let Trump & the GOP knee cap them by cutting social security & medicare .......let's see the howling and bitching when what they vote FOR actually happens, and then they can go live with the kids like was the case in for most of history
