Isn't @pesik a Houston fan?

Yes.

And for the record, it took UCF two years to go from the access bowl to the toilet bowl and UCF didn't win ONE game that year, UCF ran the table: 0-12.

You just have to give UCF credit. It was an accomplishment of epic proportions.

As long as its other AAC teams beating the team that beat OU and Ville, the cred stays with the conference.

Navy was on a run of their own at the time.

Memphis and SMU are projected to break out this year.

It helped build them.

That's one thing M_C fans can't relate to. It's why the M_C has also become a 1 bid conference in Hoop.

You gotta win your OOC and let the chips fall where they may IN CONFERENCE. Houston delivered last year for the AAC.

In contrast, when your M_C teams lose to Sunbelt schools and then beat other M_C teams your prospects are lacking. Look at this years recruiting. The MWC has absolutely imploded and recruits know.

You have to win your bowls.  That's why that P6 is a sticker on your helmets, not painted on. lol

I'd be curious to see the AAC's records versus P6 schools the last 3 years if Houston, Cincinnati and Memphis - the three schools which appeared to be most likely to be offered by the B12 - are taken out of the comparison. Because to repeat, the MWC had become at least the football equal of the BE when Utah and TCU were lured away and BYU bailed for independence and because it's quite possible that two of those three current AAC schools will still be offered by the B12 within the next few years.

I don't think the B12 is ever going to expand unless Texas and OU leave.  I don't thnk those teams will leave.  WHy would you leave that sweet setup?  You have a largely non competitive league that you rule over and get special deals

Kansas: Is as good as gone to the B1G once the B12's GOR expires.

OU: Is supposedly as disgusted with UT as Nebraska and A&M were so unless that changes, is probably gone to the SEC or maybe the B1G or even the Pac.

Okie State: If the state legislature made taking the Cowboys a requirement to get OU, the B1G would say no thanks but the Pac would say yes and the SEC maybe.

WVU: Although unlikely, there's an outside chance of an offer from the ACC or the SEC.

Conclusion: Contrary to what some think, IMO you're spot on in saying UT ain't goin' no place. However, the B12 is certain to lose at least 1 and will likely lose 2-3 members from a conference of just 10. Could the conference carry on with just 9? Sure but no way it wouldn't add other members if it goes down to just 8 and the 2 losses are OU and KU which would likely be the case. As I've said for months, I think if OU stays put, things will just settle down for a long time. However, if OU leaves, some dominoes are certain to fall.

OU and OSU are not bound by legal ties.  You can read about that below.

Who has the MWC beat? Signature wins? Number of Championships in the revenue sports?

Hanging your hat on low level G5 bowls wont get it done. The TV networks aren't tracking those kinds of games.

Your champ beat the AAC #6. Bravo!!

So, if/went the AAC gets a sizable increase over the M_C, who will you blame? LMAO

YOURSELVES... FOR LACK OF TOP 10 WINS??? HAIR??? AAC FANS??? LMAO

Who will you blame for the difference in TV money? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Good luck with that. Again... Who will you blame for the disparity in TV money?

Perhaps you can look for the cause underground with your head in the sand.

If those mid-to-low level wins are your signature wins it's no wonder you're going strictly streaming.

Joe Football fan is laughing at your definition of signature wins.

AND THERE YOU GO...

ALL THAT PURPLE DOWN BELOW IS WHY THIS CONFERENCE IS IN QUICKSAND.

The AAC is closer to the Big 12 than the MWC.

I won't blame anyone because the TV money will be similar.

Hmmmm, all I see is a bunch of teams that didn't perform to their recruiting level.  The AAC should be better based on their rankings.  Of course, we all know rankings are bullshit much of the time, so............

Those recruiting data are one more example of how GD stoopid Mike Aresco is. Had he not pushed for the addition of Too-lame and thereby set in motion a chain reaction that resulted in Boise and SDSU not jumping to the nBE, the MWC WOULD now be the western version of the MAC that FoneyFrog so often contends it is.

Of course, the numbnutz president of FoneyFrog's alma mater put the bug in Aresco's ear to do that.:hahaha:

Boom goes the dynamite.
