I don't mind that you have a high opinion of your school..that's fine..I also don't mind SDSU fans insulting other schools in the MW and their fans..Also cool with me.  I just question this notion so many of you aztec fans have that your school is a national story and hugely in demand..You aren't.  I still respect you though.I like the MW too..

It's time BYU, Hawaii, San Diego St and UNLV have an airport meeting. We can all go Indy with a scheduling agreements. We all can get our own TV deal also.

There would be lots of independents to schedule..The funny thing is Hawaii will still have to pay schools to come to the island.  In fact they would all probably charge more..

We'll get more quality schools to come over thus a bigger payout with the attendance increase. Nevada wouldn't be able to get a TV deal by yourself. 

Hawaii, Boise st, San Diego st, BYU, UNLV, Air Force, and maybe Fresno st are the only MWC schools that could get their own tv deal and survive. The rest will have to go to the Big Sky or CUSA with UTEP.

If the powers to be thought for even a second that independence for Hawaii is viable they would have done it already..

Also..The current tv deal pays peanuts and would not be a huge loss for any school in the MW..

Playing games at 1 pm on saturday will draw far more fans in the stadium than a Thursday at 9 pm crapfest..

LOL.  Hawaii already has their own TV deal, but it is based on guaranteed games against the MWC.  Still, they could probably make it.  BYU isn't a MWC school, you've got to try and keep up.  They are not thriving as an indy, but they are surviving.  As for the rest of your list, that would be AD suicide.

Teams will give Hawaii scheduling agreements just for the fact that they can get a 13th game or play in Week 0.  Just because you guys don't take advantage doesn't mean other schools won't.

We're making like 6-7 times what we used to make here.  Your athletic departments would give their left nut to see that kind of cash.
