Guest Dr. Dre

Look for an increase in attendance from SDSU (40K) and Hawai'i (30K)

Look for a MAJOR increase from Colorado State (40K) and New Mexico (25-30K)

BSU, AFA, and Fresno stay around the same

The rest are turds in a bowl and get outdrawn by FCS schools

CSU is gonna skyrocket.  A pretty good home slate should mean some good attendance for us, but SDSU has to find a way to get the students there, especially late in the season.  Wyo has a ton of hype, and have already outsold last year's season tickets (so those are locked in).  Their schedule plays well too, FCS game for the home opener, New Mexico for Homecoming, and only one "hope they choose to show up game" with TX State.

I think

Gains

SDSU

Hawaii

CSU

Wyo

UNM

Stays about the same

Boise

SJSU

UNLV

Nevada

AFA

Drops

Fresno

USU

Considering there is only 1 FCS school over 20k....good argument.

This is what i see happening for the gainers....my guess:

SDSU: 41,000 (no Chargers and a successful team as of late)

CSU: 32,500 (better team and a nice stadium will get people curious)

Hawaii: 30,000 (the Pokes of the west, albeit less hype....fans will be excited)

Wyoming: 26,000 (lots of hype and people are going to go see if Josh Allen is the real deal. When Wyoming wins the fans flock, if Wyo can figure out Iowa in the first game of the season this COULD be higher.)

New Mexico: 24,500 (could be higher if they start hot)

I was expecting this last year but it didn't happen for some reason.

USU attendance will not drop this season given the home schedule, it would help if we had a decent team, however I do not have much faith in that.

I based my assumption on the fact that the renovation is a season gone, so no curiosity buys, and BYU is going to sell out, Boise is going to sell out, but after that, not a sexy schedule.  I would be glad to be wrong, as I want all of us to do well.

You can't lose to Rutgers the way they did and win your fans over.

Yeah I was specifically thinking about Season Tickets sales. I was surprised that Lobo Fans didn't buy more before the season started. I seem to recall Davie was salty about it too.

As he should be. We as fans really want to boot ESPN and co to the side....show up to the damn games! I live 6 hours away and made it to 3 games last year...I would expect Wyoming fans in a 2 hour radius to be there every game!!!

Chicken and egg though.

ESPN dictates that the games are on at non-traditional (shitty) times, and people can't/don't go. Get rid of ESPN, attendance will go up.

The question is, what happens to the bottom line? Are AD's willing to gamble that traditional, Saturday afternoon kickoff times net out more $$ in the end than the guaranteed TV payout they get?

Pokes of the West? Wyoming will never achieve attendance figures like Hawaii. We'll lead this trailer park conference this year.

BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah right.

All the hype in the world can't just create fans you just don't have. You'll average around 20K- just like FCS NDSU

I take that CSU-San Diego number w/a grain of salt.  Don't they pad their numbers a bunch?  What was their number for their beatdown by CSU in the rain?  It looked to me like they didn't have more than 8k-ppl at our game.

MAC is #6 in TV Revenue, yet #10 (dead last) in attendance.  How does that wrk?
