Recommended Posts

The man is an AFA grad, served 5 years active duty, was recruited by the CIA, and earned his undergrad in Soviet Studies during the height of the Cold War.

Preach it, Pop!

Oh the horror! A coach doesn't want to be interviewed in the middle of a game.

In-game interviews are a cancer on televised sports.

while ignoring how his own player, Bruce Bowen, did the same thing all the time.

Significant differences there. What Bowen did was "dirty" at the time, but it wasn't illegal. What Zaza did was completely illegal. Bowen retired 8 years ago. Claiming that Spurs coaches, players, or fans can't complain about Zaza's bullshit is ridiculous. If you want to go down that road, then you have no place to defend Trump for the shit that he said before running for President as being irrelevant and that people's minds can change. Furthermore, Pop's comments on Trump are completely separate from his comments about Zaza... one has to do with the nation, and the other has to do with his job. Your comparison is faulty at best, and completely grasping at straws.

Damn jobs and obligations getting in the way of what I want to do!

All is well, For Rice is gone.

He isn't obligated to give a "thoughtful" answer at halftime. He's obligated to talk to the media and answer two questions... which he does.

Only bias minds think Zaza's play was dirty.

That's what a clumsy 7 footer looks like closing out. There was no intent and Leonard's momentum is backward. Just a shitty situation that is seen in nearly every game...feet landing on other feet.

So he can't be criticized for it? Is that not okay?

You win the idiot award of the day. Everyone with even half a brain knows that what Zaza did was completely dirty. Even if it was "accidental", it was reckless. However, given his history (especially with the Spurs and Kawhi), it makes it even more obvious that what he did was absolutely purposeful.

edit: the fact that Kawhi was moving backwards further proves just how purposeful what he did was.

Sure, you can criticize him for it... but attempting to use it as a way to deflect from his comments about Trump is grasping at straws.

How does it feel to be a clueless moron? I'm genuinely curious, it'll give me some insights into how Trump's mind works.

lolwut?

Has nothing to do with Trump comments. It's the fact of him being an asshole to people doing their jobs and being such a prick about having to answer 2 questions. People think it's cute and funny.

it's old and childish.

Must suck watching your team blow a huge lead and then blame it on a clean play.

Except for the part where it was brought up in direct response to Pop's comments about Trump. Do try to keep up.

Anyway, I'm done trying to have an intelligent discussion with someone so obviously ill-equipped for one.

Because he's answering a question with absolutely no relevance to his position and task at hand, moron.

He's got a couple mins to answer stupid questions, but not 5 seconds for a legitimate question. A question that's actually relevant to his job and an obligation under contract?

Are you PH and is Pop, Dave Rice?
