Any pundit pretending be able to predict whether or not a 1st round QB prospect is a "sure-fire" NFL star or not is laughable. The only thing close to a can't miss QB prospect in the past decade was Andrew Luck.

I can see that, but he's better than Flacco. Whatever team drafts him will be set at QB for at least a decade.

Better than a QB that led his team to a Super Bowl win?  Good stuff.

Let's try not to lose 6 games this year first, and we'll assess later as the year goes on.

He frequently throws off his back foot and throws against his body, two things he will need coached out of him.  He's extremely raw at this point.

Flacco didn't "lead" his team to a Super Bowl win. He was along for the ride.

Josh needs work on his footwork but he'll get that taken care of. I think people said that about Carr but he's been great in Oakland. His intangibles are off the charts.
