Should the MWC add / keep small enrollment schools? (less than 13,000 students)

Talking tiny Universities, with a tiny enrollment.

Maybe less than 14,000 students as a cutoff.

Are they worth adding or keeping, if they are also in a tiny market?  Tiny enrollment means a very small alumni base, and tiny fanbase.

Should the MWC impose a mandatory minimum enrollment requirement?   Is the MWC better to focus on large enrollment, State Universities?

Schools like Wyoming should play schools their own size. The Big Sky would be a perfect fit for them. Maybe they can actually win an outright conference title there. I know, it's an FCS conference title but what the hell.

Just imagine if BYU had something to play for during the regular season. You would probably get your troll mojo back. How the mighty have fallen...

Problem I see with tiny enrollment schools, with tiny alumni size, is that you have to sell that to a TV partner.  Imagine approaching TV partners and saying you have a bunch of tiny enrollment Universities in tiny markets for a football schedule.  It's tough....

The larger enrollment schools (TV interest) end up subsidizing the tiny schools (no TV interest).  All your games might end up on CBS Sports, with only a small payout under this model.

But some don't mind having tiny schools in the conference.  To each their own...

wyoming may be cusa worthy, but is basically a big sky team dressed in brown and yellow.

Wyoming has an enrollment of 12,000 students.

SDSU is almost 3 times as big, with 34,000 students.

Which MWC schools won't make the 14,000 cut-off?

Completely off-topic, but let's talk some more about the BYU honor code. Is BYU still offering "Map Bending" as a degree? Anymore Tico Pringles or Thomas Stancils in the foreseeable future? Seems like you have a really good working relationship with the Witch Doctors of the Pacific Ocean. When do you plan to annex the Hawaii islands for another BYwho campus?

^^^

Fallen = SDSU backing down from a threat to never schedule BYU again, and allowing BYU to use SDSU as late season filler.

SDSU = Filler for the BYU November schedule.

Even gave BYU a "rivalry week" November filler, SDSU wanted a sellout game so bad.

good.week zero, both byu and hawaii games not picked up by major networks yet.has this anything to do with the fact that we both have our own television rights?

BYU @ Hawaii is on CBS Sports, at 3 pm Island time.  So you are right....Game won't be on a major network.

CBS Sports always grabs as many BYU @ MWC games that it can.  Sorry Bruddah Pig.

But, much Aloha for the honor it is for BYU to play @ Hawaii, and schedule 13 games this year.

Week zero, you are right.  BYU vs Portland St is on BYUtv.  I'm sure yours is Oceanic?

He's just mad that after all that hard work on independence, BYwho ended up in the same bowl as Wyoming and would have lost had it not been for the weather.

"We almost beat BYU".

These words should be added to the Wyoming fight song.

Hey, I'll admit...you definitely have the scoreboard. The Map Benders in Provo must have figured out a way cause a torrential downpour in San Diego.
