All Time Favorite Movies Ranked!

Recommended Posts

My boy was sick today so instead of going to my in laws for our annual Easter deal I had to/got to stay home and putt in the yard while drinking beers and listening to the iPod all day.  Got the dog washed, weeds pulled, lawn mowed, car washed, and developed a sweet mellow buzz that has lasted for hours.

I adore my girls and love my wife, but sweetjesus a day off of them and work is hard to beat.  While I was killing time my mind wandered to movies.  So here is my newest rankings list.

All time favorite movies......

Survey says........

1.  Breakfast Club

2.  Casablanca

3.  Star Trek II

4.  Rocky

5.   Old School

6.  Midway

7.  Terminator

8.  Pursuit of Happyness

9.  Vacation

10.  Good Morning Vietnam

What do you guys got?

1. Dr. Strangelove

2. Big Lebowski

3. Blade Runner

4. Chinatown

5. Terminator

6. No Country for Old Men

7. The Misfits

8. Trainspotting

9. The Searchers

10. Sand Pebbles

After the first three or four they're hard to rank. In terms of foreign films (other than Trainspotting), I would go with:

Mexico - Amores Perros

Japan - Throne of Blood

Sweden - The Seventh Seal

Germany - Aguirre the Wrath of God

Thay Haif Said: Quhat Say Thay? Lat Thame Say

4. a...Galaxy Quest and b...The Holy Grail

5. The Burbs

6. Clue

7. 28 Days Later

8. Planet of the Apes (original)

9. A Christmas Story

10. The Wizard of Oz

Not really sure on the order of 4-10, but the first three are pretty set for me.

If we are including foreign--I love Bollywoods. :D  And foreign horror films.

Forrest Gump is at the top of the pile.  Everything else depends on my mood.

For some reason I always figured you to be the Urban Cowboy type.
