Orient Yourself with CSU's Stadium

The students are behind the visitor's bench.

Don't worry, Wyoming fans will be leaving by halftime anyways.

The Wyoming Game is the only reason you might get a sellout every other year, so definitely not enough visitor seating......................but seriously, that is too much seating for Students that wont show up.    Nice stadium though!  It was great beating you in the last Border War at Pughes, it will be even sweeter beating you in the First Border War in the new Sheep pen!

The students will show.  I don't think you realize the on-campus dynamic and interest the stadium is generating.  We have 3X the amount of students wyo has.  Further, we have also sold out Utah State, Minnesota and AF the last two years and our home schedules are only getting better.  You guys will bring fans but we really don't need wyo to sell out games.  That's a myth.

With the new stadium we will have plenty of sellouts regardless.  Unless Bobo lays an egg this year.  Which I'm not ruling out.

Should the student section really be any more than just a few rows in the upper deck? Seems like a big waste. CSU students are more interested in their home garden than football.

CSU AD Jack Graham - “If you get outside our borders, no one knows who we are. I was in Phoenix (last week) for the Mountain West meetings and there was a reception with all of the athletic directors. The bartender said to me, ‘Colorado State, where are you guys, Boulder?’ I’ve gotten that all my career. No one knows us outside our own boundaries."

I like the way CSU prioritizes students.  Pays dividends down the road.

As they should, considering CSU's athletic department collects $5.5 million a year in student fees. (Second in highest in the MW) Hopefully the new stadium can help bring that number down eventually.

CSU season ticket holders are currently going through the process of selecting seating and parking.  I believe the allotment for season ticket holders continues for about a month after which it gets opened to the general public.

Students are lower bowl, east side (bottom left to bottom right in picture).

That little red sliver in the upper left side is where the visitors go.

Red sections on west side indicate that they are sold-out.

Looks like a modified Bulldog Stadium.....at least you finally got a stadium on campus.

Huh? Bulldog Stadium is a bowl and CSU's is multi-deck with an open concourse. The two are about as opposite as you can get in regards to stadium design.

Nope it looks similar to Bulldog Stadium although Bulldog Stadium has structures on both sides with the press box on one side and suites on the other.  The side with the press box will be modified with our stadium reno that will add more suites and club seating over the next two to three years in the off season.

Fresno's design (a bowl) and CSU's design (multi-level) are polar opposites. It's not even a debate, it's just Stadium Design 101. Are you trying to troll or something?

Yes, he's trying to troll.  Compare Fresno's digs to Hughes.  Fresno's are nicer, but much more similar to Hughes than the new OCS.
