Boise State keepin' it rolling

Recommended Posts

With MW Titles now in S&D, Basketball, and Volleyball, now the Women's Softball team enters conference play with the best overall record in the MW (17-5). They've thrown two no hitters this year (after only having thrown one in program history). Also (non-MW related), the women's gymnastics #11 ranked Broncos just knocked off #8 Georgia and will likely move into the top-10 for the first time in program history.

So bow down to your Queens of the MW. There is no way the Big XII will be able to ignore us, next go 'round.

After missing the cross country and indoor track season, Ostrander should be back running this spring to bring a national title to Boise.

Ostrander is ranked #1 in the country, but they also have SO Brenna Peloquin who is an All American herself after finishing #6 at the NCAA Championships. HC Corey Ihmels seems to be building a juggernaut in cross country

Ostrander missed the outdoor season last year to make sure she could run in the Olympic trials.  Her trial time was nearly 50 seconds faster then the girl who won the NCAA title.  A national title is pretty much a lock for her if she is healthy.  No collegiate athlete in American can touch her.

Might win a national title in the distance medley with her back as well.

Boise State softball stopped rolling and instead was rolled over then mercy ruled yesterday.

Fresno State scored 2 grand slams (1 in the 1st inning, 1 in the 2nd inning) on the way to a 9-0 score in the 2nd inning. Boise State had no offense to respond, having only 3 hits in 5 innings.

There is a long highway ahead before a coronation.

We'll see today, but most likely not.  In looking at Boise's schedule, most of the teams are middle of the road to weak.  In my opinion, Fresno is not as good as last year, but they are still doing fairly well.
