It was funny, Keith Olberman, one of the biggest butthurt lefties of all time, said that he'd much rather have another 4 year term with W than 5 minutes with Trump.

And you made it through the Obama regime.  Now you get to witness America becoming great again.

that's what you don't get...America never stopped being great.

we are not crowning some king today, or bowing to a sovereign...a temp employee is starting his new job today, and we're his boss.

We are a lot less great than we used to be.  We can thank W and O for a large part of that.

How do you figure?

And saw this on the Onion. http://www.theonion.com/article/departing-obama-tearfully-shoos-away-loyal-drone-f-55100

I figure it would tickle @BSUTOP25 and @bluerules009

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

The Onion and the Daily Mail are my two favorite news sources nowadays.

You make great points that show a lot of self awareness.

Planning is an exercise of power, and in a modern state much real power is suffused with boredom. The agents of planning are usually boring; the planning process is boring; the implementation of plans is always boring. In a democracy boredom works for bureaucracies and corporations as smell works for skunk. It keeps danger away. Power does not have to be exercised behind the scenes. It can be open. The audience is asleep. The modern world is forged amidst our inattention.
