Aren't you worried that Obama doubled our debt during his time in office (some his fault, some not)?  We're never going to be out of debt.  The piper has to be paid at some point.

We are actually still at a lower level relative to GDP than we were prior to 1950 ish.  Not saying I agree with the spending,  but it's not unusual.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears; it was their final, most essential command.

No, he doesn't. He wants rich people to pay for it.

Bernie planned to increase spending by 33 trillion dollars in a decade, raise taxes on everyone, and still only be able to raise 15 trillion in new revenue. Even if you confiscated every penny the 400 richest Americans owned you couldn't pay for one year's worth of New spending Bernie wanted implement. Yes, unicorns would be needed to pay for it.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Back then we had just come out of a decade long depression and fought a two front world war. It's pretty unusual.

And we all know that the Republican congress would have just rubber stamped everything and it would all be so.

Bernie's a negotiator. He starts out asking a lot in order to hopefully get something.  He's done that his entire career. His presidential run is his greatest example of this.

The art of the deal, my friend.

It is a resource that has been totally overlooked. Damn PETA.

Even 50 percent of China's gdp wouldn't pay for the additional spending.

So no. Not even unicorns could have paid for it.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

She talks about both the rich and the poor being better off, even though the gap has widened.  Rising tide lifts all boats sort of thing. But what we have right now are increasing incomes for the wealthy and falling incomes for the middle and lower classes.  The rising tide seems to be a little more selective in recent times.

I await the right honorable gentleman's response.

Harumpf, hmmm, yes, yes...harumpf.

Even more so the last 8 years!!!!  The number of Americans living in poverty has increased by 7 million.  The ACA has moved lower middle class dual income families into the lower classes.  Construction, restaurant jobs have gone from having one guy making 13 an hour and working 45 hours a week to two guys working 25-30 hours for 10 an hour because of the AFCA.  There are more poor now, even though there are more 30 hour a week jobs for lower pay.

If you attempt to put holes in the yachts surfing on the tides so the row boats look better in comparison and the value of their row boats increases enough to attach an inter tube, we all lose.  That is socialism.

It's been going on for 30 years.

And Obama expedited it.  Bernie would have attempted to wreck it beyond repair.  His policies were ridiculous, short sighted, poorly thought out and catered to well off young white males who thought they knew more then they actually did and old white hippies.  If he was allowed to enact all his policies (which he would not have been) our country would have been screwed beyond repair.  He is a naive idiot, however well meaning.  The money was simply not there to do his ill advised plans centered around destabilizing the things that America is better at then the rest of the world.

Bernie is a well meaning fool, as are his supporters.

Here's where you lose me on Trump>Bernie.  I wanted Bernie and I would rather have Ron Paul, the opposite of Bernie, as president than Donald Trump.

So?  I would rather have had a third term of Obama than Trump.  I would have rather have had Kasich and Rubio than a third Obama term.  I would have rather have had Clinton than Trump.  What does this have to do with how insanely unpractical every major point of Bernies campaign was?

Bernie is an out of touch old hippie, kicked out of a hippie commune in his 30's for being too lazy.  Props for sticking to his true self I guess.

You're wrong.

So so so so so so wrong.

Dude.

Like, so wrong.

(Serious)

Did the right have riots after Obama was elected?

Did GOP officials go around announcing to the world they are going to boycott the inauguration?

The bitching and whining by the dims far exceeds what we saw after O was elected.  The left is behaving like a petulant child.

"Don't underestimate Joe Biden's ability to F@*k things up."
