Democrats need to grow up.

Recommended Posts

What a disgrace, reasonable democrats should be embarrassed.

The Russia illegitimacy mantra is out of control.  Did they hack the DNC, sure.  Did they try to influence the election, sure.

So did Ukraine the other way.

So did the US regarding Brexit when Obama threatened the back of the que (I don't know how the freaking Brits spell that stupid word and don't care, they can even properly use the last letter of the alphabet, so whatever).

So did the US in the Israeli elections.

and phuck, I sure wish we would have tried to keep the Philippines from electing that wing nut they have now.

Then we got John Lewis saying Trump is illegitimate so for the first time in his career, he won't go to the inauguration.  Except he did the same freaking thing 16 years ago when Dubya was elected.  So I guess it's only legit when his side wins.

then half of the few remaining house democrats are boycotting the inauguration because Trump is the devil.  The inauguration is about America and the peaceful transfer of power, not Trump per se.

And I'll be damned if Trump isn't right about the CIA playing politics and leaking.  Brennan can get on his high horse all he wants about Trump calling the leakers Nazis, but why isn't he firing anyone for leaking made up crap like trump had hookers pee in Obamas bed?

then to top it, Obama pardons Chelsea, the traitor and leaker, who absolutely got our people killed, by leaking to of all people, Assange.  The very same phucker they say threw the election.  Are you kidding me?

bitch about trump all you want, lord knows I do, but you idiots are no better.  Not one bit.

Both sides need to grow up! They've been at odds for a long time, and it's mostly out of spite. I'm burnt out on the BS coming from both the Dem's and Rep's.

The Russia stuff is way overboard at this point, I agree.

But lol at a member of the orange man-baby's party telling others to grow up when your party elected someone with the mind of an adolescent child as president. Gold Jerry, Gold!

When you accomplish something outside of finishing a book, let me know. When's the last time you saw a 2 year old fly first class in their own seat? Don't tell me about elite.

I heard a couple next to us at dinner the other night hoping that the rioting would be so severe country wide on inauguration day that all commerce, law, order and government would be shut down and martial law enforced and wondering if that might keep Obama in office.  I started talking somewhat loudly about how awesome Tillerson, Mattis and hot girls in bikinis eating burgers are.

I think it is disingenuous to compare Russia influencing our election covertly using illegal methods vs explicit endorsements of other candidates, as used in your other examples

Other than that, yeah.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

A lot of similar behavior was condoned, if not celebrated, for the last eight years. (I'm not naive. It was condoned and celebrated for the eight years before that ... and the eight years before that.) Is calling the president-elect illegitimate worse than the America-hatin', socialist-in-chief, "You Lie" rhetoric from folks on the right?

Wait until the SCOTUS nomination. The GOP gave the Dems license to make sure that is a +++++ing disaster. This is the downward spiral we're in. Why would anyone expect Dems to act any differently than Republicans?

The crying and whining is unprecedented.  Do not kid yourself.  The obstructionism will be nothing new, and exactly what the right did.  The delicious hypocrisy, the tears, the celebrity melt downs, the college campus grief counselors, the paid protesters, the unpaid protesters, black protesters advising white people to come but to go to the back and be silent.  White protesters taking offense to that.  They are devouring each other.  It is all amazing.

Unprecedented?

Dude remember the time when a Republican won and the country murdered 3% of its total population at the time?

The hypocrisy of this post is almost too much to take.  The Rs spent the last 8 years whining, crying like babies and obstructing everything.  If Obama declared that air was for breathing, the Rs would have been against it.  The Rs spent a good portion of Obama's presidency pushing the birther issue in attempt to prove Obama was an illegitimate president.  The Rs spent the last 8 years pushing nutso conspiracy theories like Jade Helm.  The Rs spent the last 8 years taking any deserved credit away from Obama (killing BinLaden was because of Bush).  The Rs just elected the biggest man baby in the history of politics who conducts himself on about a 3rd grade level.

But the Dems are the ones who must grow up!

The way I see it the Ds have about 8 years of payback.  What comes around goes around and things are just getting started.  Buckle up cupcake.

Meh. A fair amount of Repubs boycotted Obama's Inauguration. Nothing new.

Where did you see the word "boycott" in that article?

And what are the names of the Republican congressmen/women who didn't attend Barry's inauguration? There are none listed in your article.

I'd also like to see their press releases indicating that they were not going to attend.

That's how I see it too.. Literally anything Obama did was criticized to the nth degree. And then elected the world largest toddler in America because he made some money in the 80's and was on a tv show. Won the election with the uneducated white man vote hoping to bring back the phukking industrial revolution when coal and steel work ruled America.

I think all sides need to grow up.

More importantly, I think the American public needs to quit being so goddamned stupid to eat their lies.

Further, I also find OP's thread to a bit silly and a lot disingenuous.  Do we need to parade the GOP's many follies over the past, oh, pick a cut off date?

[By the way, have any of my Idaho homies been following what is going on in our legislature, within the Republican party?  They're eating themselves alive, and there is nary of Democrat involved. ]

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears; it was their final, most essential command.

Exactly

Clearly neither one of you actually read this article.....It doesn't even come close to discussing what you think it does.

CSU AD Jack Graham - “If you get outside our borders, no one knows who we are. I was in Phoenix (last week) for the Mountain West meetings and there was a reception with all of the athletic directors. The bartender said to me, ‘Colorado State, where are you guys, Boulder?’ I’ve gotten that all my career. No one knows us outside our own boundaries."

What are your thoughts on the Idaho Fish and Game drama?
