At least 85 of the 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to the documents obtained by the AP.

The 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million combined, and at least 40 donated more than $100,000 each while 20 gave more than $1 million.

It's all but too late in the game for anything to derail Hilary for president.  Perhaps if the GOP hadn't nominated an unelectable candidate these continuing issues/discrepancies/lies could have been taken advantage of.  Maybe if she gets arrested and charged with a crime?  Otherwise get ready for 4 years of pant suits.

Not sure what is more embarrassing about this years election.  Clintons lies or Trumps mouth.

This election will go down as having been totally and completely sabotaged by Republican vanity campaigns. I mean literally any other Rep could've got the nod and they would be leading in polls rights now over Grandma Nixon.

But since the right had like 17 people running, the class clown got the most media attention, and therefore the most votes. What a shame...honestly as a liberal I have a strong feeling that the country needs to have balance in leadership with conservatives getting their time at the helm. It's about balance...but what has happened and what will happen (regardless of which of these a-holes are elected) could be something we never recover from.

New York Times didn't see fit to publish that AP article.   Just another example of media bias.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/08/24/bias-alert-new-york-times-finds-latest-clinton-foundation-bombshell-unfit-to-print.html

The meetings between the Democratic presidential nominee and foundation donors do not appear to violate legal agreements Clinton and former president Bill Clinton signed before she joined the State Department in 2009,” the AP wrote. “But the frequency of the overlaps shows the intermingling of access and donations, and fuels perceptions that giving the foundation money was a price of admission for face time with Clinton.”

Yet, the investigative report appeared nowhere in Wednesday’s 46-page print edition. Coming weeks after a front-page story basically saying journalists feel free to be subjective in the current race because Trump is such a threat to the Republic, critics of the “paper of record” say it smells like fish wrap.

Despite the paper's famed "Fit to Print" motto, "The truth is that only news that fits the party line gets printed,” said Michael Goodwin, a New York Post columnist and Fox News contributor who worked at the Times for 10 years.

On the one hand, that's super sketch and seems pretty counter to "transparency" and counter to the spirit of campaign finance reform.

On the other hand, this is pretty much how the founders expected government to work. They were the ultimate "insiders" and graft and money for favors weren't fringe benefits, they were part of the job description.

On the gripping hand, the founders expected slavery and non-landholders to not vote and while they made a great system, part of its greatness is its ability for continual improvement. We're supposed to be past this level of corruption. I get it; you're powerful and know people and that is worth money. Don't make it the only thing worth doing though. That's banana republic/gilded age bullshit.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Spending money to gain political access is American as apple pie.

I dont recall condi or Powell, or Kerry for that matter having their own money laundering foundation that resulted in access. But you just stick with Clinton defense number 2, everyone does it.

Please explain how the money is being laundered.

people donating to political campaigns and lobbyist freebies in exchange for access have going on for as long as we have been a country.

Generally those donations have come from American citizens, not foreigners looking to buy access with the #2 person in the executive branch.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Lets see you probably think this is a hard question.

Iranian crook wants special favor from secretary of state crook.  So he gives money to her non-profit, say a million dollars.   Secretary of state crook takes the meeting and approves his special request.  Iranian crook is happy and has his friend and partner give non-profit another million dollars.   Secretary of state crook hires her daughter to run something imaginary in non-profit and pays her a million dollars a year to do nothing.   Secretary of state and Husband talk the non-profit board into awarding the board a million dollar bonus for doing such a good job last year.   They all split a million dollars.  No law was broken and all perfectly ethical according to jackmoron and his fellows in the herd of cows.

You have to love jackmormon's undying, unmatched loyalty and devotion. Even the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette is raising eyebrows at her pattern of behavior:

... but not ol jackmormon. True believer and follower until the very end.

Plot thickens:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3757409/Hillary-Clinton-knew-aides-working-family-foundation-despite-pledge-not-to.html

Hillary Clinton KNEW her aides were working with family foundation despite her pledge not to – and she even hosted dinner at her home for the charity when in office

  • Clinton's closest State Department aides were closely involved in projects with Clinton Foundation, according to emails released Tuesday
  • This was despite ethics agreements intended to create a firewall between Clinton's office and family's foundation
  • Emails released by Citizens United show aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills were in regular contact with foundation officials
  • Topics of correspondence ranged from programming at Clinton Global Initiative events to Bill Clinton's public remarks
  • Clinton signed ethics agreement saying she wouldn't be personally involved in state department matters related to foundation
  • But State Department said her closet staffers were bound by no such restrictions

I see nothing there that makes me want to vote for Donald Trump...and THATS the problem for the GOP....Hillary Clinton is a flawed candidate, this is not news, so what does the GOP do? they run the one guy who makes Hillary look Presidential in comparison.
