Doesn't his history of involvement with the porn industry, drunken driving arrests and extensive criminal history conflict with you LDS values?

I'm just hearing about that stuff for the very first time.

I was supporting Butch Otter, but now you are making me second guess.

How did TCU add anything besides good baseball and football?  Not a new market.  Small fanbase.  No new TV sets.  No new recruiting.  They're idiots.  I wouldn't be surprised if they added Houston at all.

TCU was added because the Big 12 needed a decent team that could immediately step in and play the next season, and shore up the conference stability. Negotiatuons with what appeared to be the default choice did not go as the Big 12 wanted, so TCU got the bid.

Really?  What does the fact I'm not the greatest speller -or- that college was the best 7.5-yrs of my life, have an bearing of CSU's Academic standing???

BTW...you & my 9 & 12 yr-old nephews are the only ppl I know that "LOL" on a regular basis.

GO STATE...Beat Minnesota!!!

I'd be willing to bet your 9 and 12 year old nephews are instructed by their parents not to laugh at their slow uncle.

My points still stand.  Guys have repeatedly said BYU wasn't in the mix as much as TCU, Louisville, and West Virginia.  This is from multiple sources.

"Guys" didn't say that until well after the fact.

Several of the university presidents have said that Notre Dame was always the first choice, TCU was the second choice, and after Notre Dame passed, they evaluated several other options (Louisville, BYU, Air Force) before deciding on West Virginia about three weeks after TCU joined.

Barry Tramel, Oklahoma paper sports writer, was plugging BSU and BYU in a big way this morning.

It isn't a president or commissioner, but he is a pretty prominent opinion driver on the Oklahoma sports scene.
