Barring injuries, UNLV should come in no worse than second.

That is setting the bar very high for a team that only returns one of their top five scorers.  Even the Fab Five at Michigan went 11-7 in conference play.

The Big Ten is a much better conference.  You're comparing apples to oranges.

CSU and Wyoming drop a couple spots this year.

USU should be really good this year.

Fresno will be good this year.

Reno should improve tremendously.

Boise has a chance to repeat.

SDSU looks like they lost a lot of offense when in reality they they just lost bad offense. We'll see who steps up. Pope needs to have a POY type year for them.

UNLV.......Same shit different story. Talent to win. Probably will finish 7th. Who knows.

UNM stays around the same...or even worse.

AFA takes a small step up or stays around the same.

SJSU is SJSU.

EARLY IDKWHATIMTALKINGABOUT rankings?

The conference as a whole will be better this year.

1. Boise/SDSU

3. USU

4. UNLV/Fresno/Reno

7. CSU/WYO

9. AFA/UNM

11. SJSU

All is well, For Rice is gone.

Aztecs best lineup will be

hemsley

kell

shepard

pope

spencer

We will rely on a true frosh pg Hemsley.  he will play his way into the starting lineup. Size athleticism and moxy of Anthony Marshall. We will see if it translates on to the court.

Change is inevitable only growth is optional.

I don't know but it was some sort of medical issue.  His spot has been taken by Cameron Oliver.  Oliver was pretty highly regarded coming out of high school and originally going to Oregon State.  He decided not to when Craig Robinson got fired.

Smith would have helped right away but Oliver is potentially a better player.  However, he is a freshman and will need some time to develop..

That should be a serviceable starting lineup.

SDSU has three newcomers.  But I honestly have no clue how we will be.  Could be better (offense can't get too much worse), could be slightly worse (doubt it though).

True meaning of the words, addition by subtraction.  We were a flawed team last year and were fortunate to get as far as we did.  Not having to exclusively rely on AQ and JJ is going to be a blessing.  The heralded young guys now have a year experience.
