https://theathletic.com/5368318/2024/03/25/jim-phillips-acc-basketball-schedule/ The ACC commission makes SDSU's point, not yours. Adding more games does not benefit. The poll is does this benefit seeds. And I repeat, it does not. The committee, and the ACC commission will not disagree with that. And the MWC is not a league in the caliber of the ACC to continue to buck the committee. Fact, after now even the team that can put together any semblance of a tourney team getting curb stomped, what committee should in their right mind ever give the benefit of the doubt to this league, after doing so to negative results every single year? They won't, and they shouldn't, until this league gets their act together and play tough non-cons, and earn it.

Sweet 16: #5 SDSU (24) vs. #1 UCONN (1)

Really went on a limb with both of those. -
Today could have been better. Why Carolina's Wilcher thought he should be the one to take a three with a minute to go up one and time on the shot clock was mind boggling.

Sweet 16: #5 SDSU (24) vs. #1 UCONN (1)

Just saw that score. At least I won in bowling... Can't recall an Aztec loss differential this crazy in the modern era. Puts a sting on what is still a S16 season. But any rational person knew winning this pretty much not going to happen. That was a road game vs the no. 1. We couldn't beat a team with a pulse on the road. Congrats to my boys in the Red and Black for a great and exciting season! Hail Montezuma! -

The one bowling alley that doesn't show games...Go Aztecs! -
Supporting a side on a foreign issue that by proxy supports a terror cell, or being a supporter of domestic terror cell. What great options. And now our 3rd option can't not stumble all over his own collection of ideas. The silent majority went too silent. Now we are dealing with a bunch of people that are popular because all the retards in this country found someone that is their style of retard.

Maybe for those ones, but most of the less stringent ones will have them at least say they identify. Most folks I know say they are Christian but never go. Many Jewish folks I know rarely go as well, but still do the traditional holiday meals and cite prayers then. Maybe it is tradition more than faith?

No shame on being dead wrong. This is just their way. Lie, lie, lie. Get caught lying, move to the next lie. It is about inundation of lies, not about being right. And when in the 100 lies, one may be close to a point, make it the biggest issue in the nation. They are still looking for a DEI (which means any minority or woman)-created incident after fumbling so many lies on it so far. Just watch that shit show take flight. With no independent candidate that hasn't ventured into strange territory this could easily turn bad for the GOP. And it would be their fault. And to Biden, again, no less. Fix your shit GOP.

Which would build on the our limited understanding or grasp of it all. So maybe the last bit of what we can actually understand is merely a precursor of what is to come. Either way, we can only use what we think we know. One open of a switch could trigger a breaker to flip elsewhere, and there we will have those lights switch on. The only fact we know is that this vessel will not be used when the things we know do happen (death), happen. Either way, I do hope for a nice trip (first one) when the end of the known comes.

Fair enough. I would be fine with a public shaming, but feds gonna fed. -

In all honesty, why? What crime was truly committed. If true, I don't think calling someone a racial slur is a chargeable offense without a threat. I don't mind someone being publicly called to the floor and face the social consequence for their actions, but seems like a dog and pony show with a full-blown investigation. -

And sort of to both @halfmanhalfbronco and @retrofade's point, I don't need to go to a church if i have a question on faith. If I am reading a Bible at home, and have a "how do I interpret this" scenario, why go to a church, slog through an hour of service that may be completely disinteresting for what my mindnis on that day, just to talk to one pastor? I can just google and get many interpretations of the text from numerous faith-based sites. Time-saver and more direct answers. I see how though studies show less attendance of places of worship, it hasn't shown less identification of faith itself.

Same issues as most Lodges, IOOF's, KofC's, etc. And also, the working class is forced to be mobile, so lasting community relationships are fractured. Of which, I assume the church is the most personal. My sister and dad are exponentially more tied to their faith than I am, but with both having moved from their familiar setting, they are not attending as regularly because it is too clique-ish at times. I am attending Easter service with my dad at a church a block from my house. He likes it because the pastor is from close to his hometown, but otherwise he has said he doesn't go like he used to, and my sister does televised service.
